National Latina Equal Pay Day

On October, 21, 2021, we will observe Latina Equal Pay Day with workers, fair pay advocates, and partner organizations nationwide.

Even in 2021, the average U.S. Latina woman working full-time is paid an abysmal 57 cents for every dollar paid to the average non-Hispanic white man. Latinas are among those most represented on the frontlines of the pandemic, risking their lives in fields from health care to food production, and getting paid much less than their male counterparts.

Here’s how you can get involved as we organize, educate, and activate:
1. Join us at 10:00 a.m. Pacific / 1:00 p.m. Eastern for “Seeding Change & Demanding More,” a national Latina Equal Pay Day conversation hosted by Justice for Migrant Women, featuring dozens of inspirational speakers and guests below.

2. At 11:00 a.m. Pacific / 2:00 p.m. Eastern, join a national conversation on social media during our #LatinaEqualPay Day Social Media Storm, hosted by Equal Pay Today, Justice for Migrant Women, and the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement.
